Signing a confidentiality deed

Published 12 April 2026

Some sellers protect listing details (exact business name, address, full financials) behind a confidentiality deed. The deed is a contract: you agree not to share or use the information for any purpose other than evaluating a possible purchase.

How to sign

  1. From the listing page, click Sign deed.
  2. Read the deed in full. If anything is unclear, ask the seller or your lawyer before signing.
  3. Type your full legal name and click Sign.
  4. The seller is notified instantly and full listing details unlock for you.

Signed deeds appear under Account settings → Documents for your records.
