Contacting a seller

Open the listing and select Enquire. This starts the buyer-details and confidentiality process for that listing. Each listing can have a different seller so you need to complete one enquiry per business.

What to include

When you enquire, the seller is going to want to make sure you are genuine before handling over confidential information about their business. Use clear details that help the broker or seller understand your interest:

• Why the business interests you
• Any specific questions about the opportunity
• Your correct contact details for a reply.
• Make sure you use your legal name, not a nickname or shorter version.

Please note it can take some time for the seller to review your enquiry before granting you access to the data room.

After access is granted

If your enquiry is approved, you can continue the conversation through Live Chat from your enquiries area or from the listing when Contact seller via Live Chat is shown. You will also be able to access the confidential business information in the data room.

If the listing is no longer active

If the listing is withdrawn or no longer available, choose See Other Businesses to return to search.
